President's Message
It is the end of 2019. The SD Prowlers are entering our 73rd year driving souped up old Fords and enjoying every minute of life.
The Prowlers hot rod club have chosen a new president so it is time to begin another chapter in this book.
The roaring 20s are just around the corner. Look forward to more traditional hot rod fun!
ps: Hey we have a very nice 2020 calendar available. There are three pages dedicated to our history and the rest are pictures of our contemporary "driven daily" hot rods...all on nice paper and excellent photography of course. The cost is $10 . If we have to take it to the Post Office add $5. If interested email jimrinob@cox.net.

Prowlers Create Special Trophies for Car Shows
The San Diego Prowlers Hot Rod Club, just can't seem to do things like other clubs. At our 60th Annual Picnic and Car Show, the club decided that we should make all of the trophies that we gave out.
We have some very talended metal workers in the club. Most notably - Monte Hale and Bob Smith. I guess they just couldn't find enough fenders to bank out or frames to box. They "volunteered" (coaxed into doing it by an envious club) and came up with some of the best trophies that any of us ever saw.
The trophies are shown below with the named winner from the Annual Picnic.
The "Best of the Show" trophy is chosen by all of the Prowlers through a special voting process during the day. We are pretty finicky about who gets this baby. When it was all said and done, the "Prowler Pick" trophy went to Harry and Josh Jackman for their absolutely beautiful 1932 Ford Sports Coupe.
Congratulations guys!
The Prowlers want to thank Monte Hale and Bob Smith for the many hours of work they put into making these trophies. They were stunning in person.
